The construction systems of Earthen Architecture were created to fit our environments. Unfortunately the rapid disappearance and the replacement of the technology has taken a toll on our cultural properties and our building traditions in the United States and Latin America. Regulations, modern materials and sociological issues have affected the rapid loss of this noble building tradition. This presentation will present a general view of our cultural patrimony within our borders and outside our border that is in danger of disappearing and with it its history, culture, technologies, materials, architecture and the efforts to halt these effects.
